Qaulirmat ~ Youth Leadership Camp
“Qaulirmat” is an Inuktitut word that translates to "dawn is rising".
To us, it represents Inuit youth rising to build a bright future.
We support this generation of hope by developing programming based on 4 pillars that meet the youth where they are at.
Welcoming Space: Qaulirmat through Inuit-led staffing, and curated activities provides welcoming spaces for youth.
Infusing Healthy Activities on the daily (sports, group cooking, swimming, harvesting the land, bonfires)
Access to Inuit Role Models: We directly connect youth with local role models. Representation matters and the impact of Inuit youth seeing success stories before their very eyes is of tremendous value.
Connect, Connect, Connect: Building health relationships is at the core of everything we do. We intentionally build lasting connections with youth to our staff, the land, the water, and the community.
